The quality you see in the gallery above comes from a non-negotiable install process. Here's what happens on every job, start to finish.
We grind every square inch of the slab with HEPA-filtered equipment. This opens the pores for maximum adhesion — the single most important step in a lasting install. We never acid-etch or skip the grind.
We test for moisture vapor emission before any product touches the slab. Coastal garages in Marina del Rey and Playa del Rey often have elevated readings. If moisture is present, we address it at this stage — not after the floor peels.
Our primer is 100% solids — meaning it contains no water or solvents that evaporate and leave pinholes. It saturates the slab and creates the bonding layer the topcoats adhere to. This is where most DIY kits fail.
Flakes, metallic pigments, or solid color are applied in the broadcast coat. We apply a build coat over the broadcast to lock in the aggregate, level the surface, and create the foundation for the topcoat.
Our standard topcoat is a UV-stable aliphatic urethane or polyaspartic. It seals the surface, provides chemical and abrasion resistance, and is the layer you're actually driving on. It won't yellow from California sun — even in garages with afternoon west exposure.
We remove all equipment, clean up overspray, and do a final walkthrough with you before we leave. You get a written care guide, warranty documentation, and our direct line if you have any questions in the first year.
